Out walking
They walked along, chatting amiably and on inconsequential sillinesses as always. The morning was cool, but promised heat later. There were not many people about, no-one seeking to wake early without the need to do school runs or the like in the long languid days of Summer. They crossed a park, quiet save the odd dog walker.
